What has happened so far?

Since we launched our campaign in November 2005, Foyer has been talking to parliamentarians, Ministers and the media to raise awareness of the issues faced by homeless young people.

What we’ve done so far:

An All Party Parliamentary Group on Foyers meeting launched giveusachance campaign and was attended by 15 Foyer residents

Meetings with 30 MPs and Foyer residents have taken place in Westminster and in local Foyers

MPs and Foyer have met with Work and Pensions Minister James Plaskitt MP

James Plaskitt MP  has visited Focus E15 Foyer in Stratford, East London

Baroness Sharp of Guildford has asked a question in the House of Lords on the 16 Hour Rule:

Baroness Sharp of Guildford and Foyer have met with Work and Pensions Minister Lord Hunt of Kings Heath, who has also visited Focus Foyer in Birmingham
